Yesteryears Treasures got its start in the early 1970s when my wife and I suffered from an addiction called “collecting”.  It started innocently enough with a visit to an antique shop in South Florida where I came upon what I called at the time a “face jug” by Royal Doulton. In the wife’s case it started with a cute little figurine by a company we didn’t know at that time called “Hummell”.

Well ten years later we had collected so much stuff that we thought it best to open a shop and call it Yesteryears Treasures. We carried an eclectic array of everything imaginable from small figurines to large antique furniture from the Victorian era and we were then convinced that we were totally addicted to this whole idea of collecting and we haven’t recovered yet! We have since moved and attempted to retire but we can’t seem to kick this habit! This web site is our way of “coping” with the problem and we still have customers calling us all the time and asking if we can find this or that for them so, we thought it best to get a site opened up and offer a few of things that we are willing to depart with! We hope you can find one of those “treasures” you have been looking for here on our site.
